Multi-Generational Center
Designed as a multi-generational community center, the open plan was chosen to draw- in residents, encouraging participation in activities and social connection. Interior Designer, Sechrist Design, manipulated spatial relationships, color, lighting and materials to create sparkle and appeal to the diverse residential population.
Hub of Activities
Located at the hub of the 150 unit, multi-family condominium, the Canal Station Center includes several community lounges, a business center, meeting rooms, concierge, and full gym.
Materials, Light, and Color
Canal Station is located in the heart of the Old Ballard neighborhood, which has preserved a strong flavor of its industrial past. Sechrist Design mixed warm wood and stone together with blackened steel and brick to incorporate the industrial feel of the neighborhood.
